Hi my 1st post I've just joined We moved to the Logan area about 6 months ago and fished the river a few times but all we seem to catch are catfish would appreciate more info on what type of fish are in the river and are there prawns and crabs as well?

you need to fish more towards the mouth.I seem to do well there plus there are muddies around the same area.Try a few diffrent areas,I like to fish very light and drift .I use yabbies and have never missed in the last 2 years

I have been launching at Carbrook and heading towards the mouth and have caught flathead on nippers drifting. Also plenty of whiting, bream and plenty of sharks on live baits.
