Took Mrs Touchy for a quick fish Sat morning to see if there were any whiting around,no whiting but I had two average size bream in the esky with my first two casts,told Mrs T to move down the crk a bit out of my way while I got some serious fishing in,5 mins later she walks back up with a 39cm/1kilo bream.!! & says as innocent as ya' like "Is this what you are trying to catch dear" ARRRRRRRRRGH SH*T!!,Dont Ya' Just Hate That, Nugget came n took a couple of snaps as well so I may be still eating humble pie on his channel ten fishing report Friday night. A nice bream there mate... Were you land-based fishing around hope island or did u boat it to spot x and fish off the bank? Am particularly interested in what sorta of structure that big bream was caught in .... around the mangroves/sand flats?

Touchy fished hope island myself saturday night for a couple of 28cm bream.
Both were released, the night was pretty slow but all in all a great night out.

Its about time you retired , or give the keys to the boat to the Missus , as she seems to be catching all the Piscatorials of late, ??? or better still lay of the Stones .,or
Maybe its all those new bionic parts their sticking in you 8)

1 Kilo bream is a good capture and the season hasn't even started yet.

1337,We fished the high tide just up from the the Tourna(spelling?)boat ramp off the bank,there is a row of oyster rocks along the edge,makes it interesting at low tide but there is some nice fish there if you can get a high either dusk or dawn,Brent I'm hoping for a bay trip next week with the tides to suit(lows in the mornings )Want to pm me with a couple of your wello spot x's I got those frangers N the spray ready,Webby your thermos is a bloody beaut ,Yeah Webby, I've given Mrs T the sack,she thinks her lastest trick of sticking fridge magents on me is very funny > > > >NOT!!),I only have one more checkup next Mon.to go & I'm still off till the 18th so I'm looking at a couple of midweek fishes(minus you know who .) anges_jack,there were a couple of flattie at my feet at the ramp but I just kicked them outta the way. .
