Hi All,

Ducked out yesterday morning at gentlemens hours as deckie on a mates boat to try for some macs. trolled along sth straddie with lures and pillies before to long the TLD 20 went off and after a bit of a tussle a nice spanyard was on the gaff.
My first mac so I was rapped trolled on and picked up a fairly sizeable mac tuna around 5 kg bit of a let down but a good fight none the less. After trolling for a while longer and no more fish tried a bit of bottom bashing for 1 ray . So upped anchor and headed back in close and Andy fired up 2 schoolies around 60cm and 2 very nice spotties and we headed home with the sun going down. All in all a top day on the water.
