Looking at the group shot again, it does look a bit like a Retirement Village day out doesn't it. There's a few years of fishing knowlege locked inside those rough old heads though. I think we'd prefer to be Old Farts, than young smart arses

Thanks Mono for a great day. Was good to spend a day on the water with friends, the amount of sledging would even put Terry Hill to shame.

Hopefully dave can edit a bit of the video, even if the sound will be beeped out most of the time. Maybe he can export a still of Mono's face when he slipped and almost lost the lot, looked painful.

Hi fellas. Just wanted to say thanks for your company on the trip. Dale for a freshy you did good. Although I was getting a bit worried after the 3rd big fish dropped. Although you didnt have many options the look on your face as these fish proceeded to go balistic was worth it.
Shane the first livie dropped on the 45 ftahom reef by Dale was absoluly smashed and poor old dale had no hope as this fish just freight trained back to the bottom- pretty sure it was a ambo or sambo, too big for a kingie!
Just got a new supply of 'THAT' lure today so ready to attack the wahoo again tomorrow.
For the record, my gonads are recovering well, although still bruised at least they are back were they should be! Still not game to try them out but!
    Cheers.
PS. Webby can I post that shot of u just before that firecracker lit up your rear end?

Again, thanks for the great day Mono. My arms still hurt, and I've got this bruise just above where you damaged yourself. Next time, I'm bringin' my Spinnerbaits and Jackalls. I think Nugget got some footage of my thumb burning on one of the kingies, but that first thing was plain bloody awesome!!! I guess it's losing a few that makes you keen to go back and beat the buggers next time. I've already got my brother and nephew suggesting we book another day with you.
If you ever want to play on the fresh water mate, let me know. Those Big W bass can be fun on 4lb gear.
