Darwin
Not much on the site from Darwin, so thought I'dl chuck something up.
Arrived in Darwin mid January and have spent more time exploring waterways than actually fishing. Best results have come from Shoal bay where we have pulled some spectacular catches of muddies. Best has been on run in neap tides with 12 big bucks being best catch.
Have also caught some very nice threadfin from Shoal bay. Usually while fishing at night for Jew. The fish show up as meteors in the phosphoresence and a popper cast in front gets several hits, and if a fish is dropped another grabs the luret, resulting in a fish a cast.
Have got on to some very healthy GT's in darwin Harbour. Predictably they hang around places where there is strong tidal flow and backwater created for them to wait in ambush. Trolled lures or unweighted live mullet usually produce the goods.
Will check out West arm Sunday but Saturday is crab day.

Re: Darwin
Some places had runoff others didn't. The cyclone helped a bit with late rain. Fizzer of a wet.
Some places a firing up well.
