Fished the creek last night, launched at the Coast Guard ramp at about 1930 and trolled downstream to Vic Bridge (Tims Surf 'n' Turf) with no luck. Trolled back to swing basin and around into berth 3 and still nothing.
Anchored up in hollow at cattle races and bait fished with peeled prawns, stripeys were abundant at about 15 - 20cm but nothing much bigger. Flung a soft body at the rock wall for half an hour or so with nothing interested.
Set line into channel and still had same bait hour later so decided it was time to pack up and head for the ramp at about 2200.
Even though it was a bit blowy the creek was fairly calm, the swing basin had a bit of swell but nothing over the top.
May the winds blow lightly upon your sails
May the seas buffet gently upon your hull
May your chiller be full of piscatorial delights
