    first silver perch!

    gaday all
    just caught my first silver perch.
    in a private stocked impoundment.
    33cm and great fun my work colleges where laughin ther asses off.
    the boss hass a pond with bass and silver perch in it and with the rain i just had to have a go.
    only problem after release no more bites
    ill post pic when i get home this arvo.
    at the moment im on the bosses kids computer.

    well finaly got the pics from the phone to the puter, the wifes had the internet highjacked for the last couple hours.
    so here's my first silver Perch.
    first pis is close up second pic shows more of the area

    here's the full picture.
    Now i did catch this on a lure its just the fish were in a confined area.
    Can you see why my colleges had a giggle.

    Still a nice fish, silvers spook pretty easy thats why you probably only got the one, that or it was the only fish in the pond.

    the Bass are bigger.

    Nice one Jamie,

    Is tha pond covered by the SIP scheme , seriously though how big is the pond cause it doesn't look real big and to support 5 - 6 fish has got me thinking wouldn't be to hard to set something up in the backyard, although the neighbours might think I am a bit strange fishin in the backyard until I pull a fish out.

    if you can picture a paddle pool for the kids.
    about knee deep and has water that is circulated twice a day, they are feed meal worms. there is plenty of weed too.
