Had another go today in the perfect bay conditions. But it was a long time before we got any bites. Jagged a squid in the tentacle (poltergeist 50), and landed him for a nice entree later. Finally landed a nice legal flathead (pink lemonade powerbait) off the boatramp. Not a huge fish-a-thon but enough for a feed. Must try up north reef next time...
