    Sunday Run

    Hadnt been out in the boat for awhile as well lacking a car to tow, so Sunday was the day to test the new wheels out aswell give the boat abit of a run. Took the rod out and had flick around mud for some squid, came up trumps again with 3 rather large squid they put up a great little fight on light gear.
    Does anyone else have ideas of where the squid are in numbers? Great snapper bait

    Re: Sunday Run

    Ok here is where i had a good run of them on Saturday;

    1. Northen End of Peel at the Drop off as your facing the two islands.

    2. 400 Mtrs out of the leads at Well Point

    They werre all decent sized Cuttle Fish, i aint caught a Squid yet but some may argue they are squid but to me thy look like cuttle fish, paint your boat with their ink like cuttle fish, smell like cuttle fish and attack your bait like cuttle fish

    And yes your right, they are good bait, was using Squid from the Servo hardly got any decent bites (Note, no fish were caught) but as well as we cut the Cuttle fish up and used it, the line wouldnt stop getting hammered, so they are an awsome bait to use.

    Cheers,

    David.
