    Green Job Fish

Sneaked out early this morning for a quick fish for some snapper, when half way through my season I get smashed on a lightly weighted Floating pillie rig big time , Thought for sure I had a Monster Snapper, but turned out to be a Green Job Fish weighing in at 21lbs. 15 mins later got another also on a floating Pillie this one a bit smaller.
What size do these Green Job fish get to ?
I've caught em before ,but never this big on inshore reefs

    Re: Green Job Fish

I have seen them up to about 12kg's and speared them up to 10kg's at the sevens. A mate caught a 15kg one in the coral sea. Smaller ones 3-6 kg are quite common off Brissy. Burley really sucks them in. Cheers Doug

Something prehistoric looking about Green Jobies. Great fish. I would love to catch a big one like that someday. Where abouts did you get him?

    Re: Green Job Fish

Got all the rubber bands finely tunned, should be a "smokless" troublefree trip

I may even turn it off once or twice... not that you will notice 8)
