My first post although I have been reading everyone elses for a couple of months. Headed out with a few mates to the rubble both north and south of the leads off Wellington Pt. Half an hour in and the first squire going 40cm was landed. Caught a lot of undersize fish throughout the morning with the "highlight" a screaming overhead that saw line peeled at a fair rate of knots. Mate finally got it to the boat with the screams of snapper, snapper, snapper, only to see a 70cm Mowong or "mother in law" fish landed. I know why they call them that now. Anyway great day on the water with not a lot of boats around. Final tally 1 x mowong, 1 x squire, 1 x bream, 1 x sandy (good crab landed on line)
