out and about( part 2)
well, with the boat ready to roll and the forecast
looking pretty good dad, pop and myself decided to
fish the 200ft line again the same as last week end.
left the ramp on bribie around 5.30am for an average
trip out. fishing was very slow first up unlike last
sunday making me think we would be struggling to put
any colour in the ice box. we sounded around for a while
with bugger all showing up. eventually found a small
show and drifted it for some sharks, big grinners and some
cobia. was the first time i have landed a cobia so had a
bit of fun. a few parrot and perlies showed up and we had a
bit of action for a while. things went dead again so made the call to head wider and look for more grounds. found some small ledges and started pulling a few good parrot but soon they went off the chew as well. headed for home as it was gettin late and a good run topped of an excellent day out.
cheers dale

Re: out and about( part 2)
i wish i could say that it was 125l, the big esky stays in the boat and
that one keeps the bait frozen up the front. its only a 50L one.
pete, col from fisher boats did a top job on the bait board [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
thanks again col.
tim, its a tld15 facing the wrong way in the rod holder.
mark, i need you to show me the trick to catching the big ones
before i fill the big esky up
i thought i saw a ausfish sticker on about a 5.75 bar crusher
heading towards caloundra wide, anybody??
cheers dale
