'bout time one of you blokes put the successful Re-Bait trip into words
Top catch fellas [smiley=2thumbsup.gif] Good to see the 'old time fisherman's' marks came up trumps. Good report Brett.
I was just wondering, how does a whale spotter spot whales in the pitch black? I rekon Phill just sent you out there so him and Rob could have a bit of a laugh while you froze your t!ts off

Re: Banking on the banks with Re-bait

Yes well, tx Brett for extolling my virtues of' The Silent Spew ".

As Rob, said, a report was posted, but, so many reports up, it went to page 2 very quick.

The story of the Silent Spew goes something like this :-

As most of you would know or have been in company of, a sea sick person, once 1 gets crook, another can and usually follows. Why ? because of all the loud noises and grunting, and swearing etc etc. let alone the sight of last nights dinner ( including carrots ), being drifted out for berley.

So, I have a little problem ( inner ear thing ), that when I cannot define the horizon or oreintate myself to where I am, I get Motion Sickness, as opposed to Sea sickness. I even get this way playing those bloody racing video games. So, as not to alert the others on the boat, I have developed a body function called, The Silent Spew. This is uaually done on the water, but I have refined it so than when I have consumed copious amounts of alcohol, and THAT time comes, I can " Spew Silently " without attracting attention.

Having said that, I was fine after a couple and the sun was lighting the sky. Strange fellow that Phill, Brett was thinking, as when he asked me what I was looking at over the side of the boat, I replied " I am just checking the water depth ". The bugga was standing beside me and could not tell I was up-chucking. How quiet is that ?

Now, the challenge is again to all Ausfish Members, have a go at the " Silent Spew ". It is way harder than you think.

    And again Brett, thanks M A T E !

No chance of me achieving the 'Silent Spew'.

Only time I spewed was when I did the Bar Crossing course with Bill. He gave me a 11 outta 10 for sound effects, color, and slick content.

My secret plan actually worked; I ended up driving 75% of the time to keep my mine off 'things'

Got back to Amity and really munched down his drinks and cookies tho...... funny that.

    Cheers,

PS actually felt sorry for the 2 other guys, they didn't really get their moneys worth.

    Oops,

Sorry about making a different post - that's what happens when you turn your back on this place for a couple of days - too many fish being caught

But Phil - if I hadn't posted my version of the report - how would anyone know about the silent spew

Oh and then seems to be either a problem with my private message or email systems because I haven't recieved those marks yet

Spew Boy (you won't be the last mate),

Could you please send Brett the marks ready for OUR "Bogey" missions this winter.

Geez, sure was some decent Snappa pulled from the wider grounds last weekend.

This weekend is looking like crap, 3m seas with 20 - 25 knot winds

    Cheers
    Craig.
