nice nobby. Just wondering what size is the boat in your photo? I have been some nice snapper in moreton bay with a tiny but just inherated a similar looking vessel but yellow hull and white top. 15ft but no motor. What size is on yours. i think i might need a 60 hp or better no bigger than 75hp.

What sort of bait rig is that BB? Is that a pilly with a single hook, and a sliced fillet to get the juices running? Does it float or go with a sinker? Is that what caught the red?

Nice fish mate. Im about to go for my first snapper, too.Might see you out there soon.

Boat is a 16ft fibreglass cuddy as per pickie.
Rocks really nicely so everyone usually burleys if they're with me #

The rig is single curved hook (forgot the name, they have the hook turned in and give a good mouth hookup rate). Single small white fluorescent peasize sinker sinks slowly. Called a floater but doesn't float.

Yes I did slice the pillie to present it as a very dead pillie with no doubt to the fish as to what killed him as well as the full lovely WA flavour to seep out! I think its a tip I picked off Heath.

    Thanks guys.
