Departed Bribie around 530am and headed for the northern beacons for some livies. No yakkas but only a few pike were caught. From conditions in the bay things were looking pretty ordinary for going outside. Got our livies and headed out to Hutchies, was blowing around the 10-15 knots with light rain most of the time. Burleyed up and landed a snapper 64cm's, didn't weigh it. Caught a few mixed reefies then headed out to the 60-70 meter line in hope of afew pearlies with one legal fish being landed. Moved back in shallower and only got a few more mixed reefies until we started getting harrassed by the few sharks out there that day. Skipper andrew, a fellow ausfish member managed a hammerhead aroung the 30kg mark and a bronzy about 6 foot long on the livies. Thought we were gone when two adult humpbacks breached about 40 meters away from the boat heading straight at us with the boat side on to them. With a few expletives being mentioned in the boat they went under and stayed under, thanking that fella upstairs. Anyway hoping to do an overnighter out there soon and have got photo of snapper that will be posted soon. And again, thanks for the trip andrew.

Cheers Adds.....
