Tsunami aka Big Mal the Mouth and Lone Wolf finally hit the beach south of Brisbane chasing a feed of tailor.
The beaches were looking great with plenty of gutters and form. Winds were 5-10 knots E/SE with no real swell or sweep to report. Low tide was around 8pm.
Conditions were great but up til dark there were no fish playing the game. We were fishing a narrowing in a long beach gutter and it defied logic as to why they were not on the chew.
Tsunami went for a walk up the beach to find some action. He was just out of sight when that familiar agressive bite of a tailor took the bait.
Went home at 7pm with 9 fish in the bag. No other fish seen caught on the beach.
All in all a good quick assault, home by 8.30pm, given had to be at work Friday 4am.
