Set out at 5:00 got to the grand boat ramp at about 6:15. As everybody on here has said it was packed.We had 3 boats in total with us and all got $30.00 parking fines.Any way got to the spot about 6:30 and it was just as packed as the boat ramp.Stated a bit slow got about 3 in an hour then at about 7:30 got another 10 pretty quickly and then nothing. 10:00 come along and the mate in the other boat who only had 3 said he was going in and we said we wont be far behind. As soon as he left they were on the chew,we got 26 in about 1/2 an hour it was grate no real size but good fun. In all out of the 3 boat my boat got 40, 2 bream and 38 tailor. the other 2 boats got 3 and 15 tailor.

nice work mate so what was the average size 30-40cm ?

Yes nothing over 40cm but still a good feed

excuse my ignorance but where is the grand boat ramp ? and also the top pic is that taken just out from surfers beach?

thats narrow neck sand bag reef
your about 50 meters off the beach.
the grand ramp is near the grand hotel and that seafood resturant ( used to be pelicans takaway.
its a dri feet ramp like the 1 at the sundale bridge.
