    hey fellas got this little fella this morning my first on soft plastic and first fish to christen the new rod and reel. absolutely stoked

    Bloody nice way to test out a new rod and reel bet it was an awesome fight im still chasing my second jewie on sp's and will be giving it a serious crack next time i get out there!

    What softie, and whats the new rod/reel. Line class. Great fish though!! Specially on softies. haha weve had a few on in the seaway havent boated one yet though. Keep up the good work!

    got him on a storm 6" in the chartruese colour. the new combo is a daiwa costal 4-8kg rod and a stradic 6000 loaded up with 6kg suffix braid( trying it out and must say am impressed so far) was very dissapointed with the fight i must say tho thought it was a big lizard till i seen it

    ahahah rob thanks mate nah nothing else down there dad had a good hit on one of tose mf stoems i think they are about 8" long with 2 hooks in em but didnt hook up nearly cut the thing in half tho not sure what it could have been.

    NIce fish there mate. Had three dud sessions in the Tweed after the one I got, looks like I might havta come up and give the Seaway a go again.

    Beauty matt,
    Congratulations on a great fish. Were you targetting jew specifically with the big sp you were using??
    Also, were you close to the pipeline, anchored or drifting? (i am guessing anchored due to the current in that neck of the woods)
    Anything you are willing to share would be appreciated!!
