    fitzy it was a in comming tide, water looked real good for just about anything,
    tide comming in around the front and slowing up as it hit the mouth of the bar

    Hi again squid-eye,
    mate forgot to ask what sort of set up you were using - line strength, hook/rig size/style, length of leader (and weight) and sinker size/type. Anything you are willing to share would be awesome (fully understand if you don't want to share it!!)

    nice one squideye. I was over there the same time and caught an eight pound tailor. We also caught 3 salmon which were over the six pound mark.
    did u catch the jew friday arvo or at night and what bait.

    Don't believe a word of this.... What he is holding is a small bait fish ...... The trick is to know some one who is a grand master at PhotoShop and with a little effort you have a big fish....

    The give away is that if it was real the smile would have been bigger rather than the grimice that appears in the photo.

    To boot, if he tells you the story about the boat trip, then that gets even bigger

    To tell the truth, I work with him and it makes us all sick to the teeth that it was him and not us.
