Put in at carbrook at about 6:30 to try and beat the wind got some yabbies and some live mullet for the flatties. sat on my fav whiting back for 4 quick whiting no size but, then the wind hit. i got out the wind for a while and did catch to many fish so i decied to sick it out in the wind and ended up with two nice flatties one going 49 cm and one going 66 cm. when i frist saw it i through it may have been over the 70 cm mark. the flatties took the yabbies and not the live mullet but the number 6 whiting hook and the 6 bl line stood up for me.
very nice, i've been thinking about fishing the logan river, never tried it before, will be givin it a go sometime soon, just need to find some decent land based spots, well done anyway, keep em comin'
