Looks like I missed out on a top day out, but I'd look all out of place with those 17L's...
Realized late on saturday that there was no way to get the parts organised in time and i didn't want to take too many shortcuts so I resigned myself to the fact that the boat will be fixed in time for next weekend instead.

Brett offered to take the run and pick us up which just goes to prove the classy character he is, thanks mate.

We'll organise an overnighter up there soon and bring a tribe of kids to collect firewood.

See you all on the water next time.

Yep, definately a kingfish. Nice little rat for in close. Would have pulled on light gear. Looks like a great day out. Even if the weather doesnt want to play ball. Did it rain at all?
    Great effort by all

That aint no tailor Sounds like a good day despite the weather. Thats the good thing about the 'pin, always somewhere to go no matter how strong the wind or from what direction. Next time offshore hey?

Well Guys another top day/night on the water. The weather could have been a bit kinder to us but then again thats boating for you There is always next time.Good to catch up with Brett,Tony and James and a to put a few faces to names..Matt,Mark,Terry good to meet you guys.
Kirsten and myself had the Haines in the water by 9.30 sat night.Headed out to a usual haunt but the wind had picked up and wouldn't have been the most comfortable night.Decided to find a spot out of the wind but couldn't find any fish to go with it. Planned on an early start to chase some tailer around the bar but when the time came the batteries didn't want to play ball. Thats right 2 flat batteries >
Shouldn't complain.Whilst waiting for the rest of the guys to get out there i managed to pick up a nice flatty.(Pic to follow) 68.5cm and a 31 cm bream for Kirsten.Although the wind was doing it's best to put a dampener on things still managed to have a good day out with great company.

Brett Thanks for the battery mateand good to see the young fella enjoying himself.

Cheers guys .Cant wait for the next one.
