Cooktown Weekend

Shot up to Cooktown fot the weekend. Managed a quick half day trip out aroung one of the close in reefs for a few macks and alot of fun with some good sized GTs. Then it was a quick half our turn around to junp onboard another boat for a evening fish out wide. The night fishing was a little quiet but some quality reds were caught. Didn't take too many photos, was busy trying to catch some more reds. But made sure I got a pic of the biggest red of the trip and at 13kg was a quality fish. Most reds were in the 7 to 8 kg range. all up a great trip.

Good fish ron, im yet to get a quality red. looks to be a few around atm.

GTs and tuna were a bycatch while targeting mackeral. But were great fun all the same.
