Fished the Nerang river today and although it was fairly breezy, still managed some fish. Started by hitting the rock walls of the main river for only a few flathead. Moved to bridge pilons where a 34cm (fork) bream was landed. Moved onto another set of canals and fished a little different by using unweighted plastics and a small popper. Had hit after hit by bream on the popper but no hook ups, however the unweighted plastics got hammered. Even though it was a breezy day it was a great way to fish, very visual and exciting.
