    Sunset at the Boardwalk

Fished the boardwalk just before and after sunset today. Started off well with a nice bream on my third cast. I was floating cheesy dough and wiating for the big boys to race through the pack. Unfortunately after about an hour the tide was coming through there so fast that fishing became pointless and I headed home. Nice spot to fish though, but seems difficult unless you're there right at the change.

Tried again during the middle of the day today, right on high tide. Still, even with a double sinker on one rig it was getting swept round to the shallower water. Tried starting it in close and ended up getting plenty of undersize bream, lots of butter bream and I even foul-hooked a happy moment. There were some bigger fish in there, with a small school of trevally bypassing the dough at one point, and I hooked but lost a larger bream as well. Overall, a fun little session.
