JACK TIME in the Tweed,

Went out Monday aavo late to do some serious scouting for a jack . Spent a bit of time looking around for a likely looking bank with a bit of bait and after finding a likely looking spot. Flogged it on dark with soft plastics for a few flathead and then started to tow a hardbody just on dark. I got the first one of 48cm on the second lap boy do they hit hard. Pretty happy with my first jack for the summer. I was alone so took the foto myself. Shortly after I noticed a light go on on the bank and an old guy started to fish right in the middle of my troll. I decided to change to soft plastics again and nailed the 53cm on the third cast. That should answer a lot of questions about sp's after dark. I went over to the oldie an asked him to take the second pic for me(good job he didnt hear me cursing him)As you can see from the pics there was no light at all so the jack on the sp was caught in complete darkness. All in al an awesome night with no wind at all an mate the drive back to the ramp wih a big smile.

Thats a great performance there on the jacks, its so good to see the rivers down here holding good numbers, you just have to look for the ideal location.

14lb fireline 35lb leader, a shimano curado fished on a shimano calais rod that I got in South Africa (very sorry i didnt buy more) The plastic was 3inch squidgy on a 3/8 ounce head in silver and black.
