Last saturday I competed in an alvey junior fishing competition, It was really windy and all I caught was a little whiting, too small to keep. But some guy did catch a 73cm flathead, which he had to let go. A few reels were given away, and most people had fun. I think about 135 people went, and only 30 people caught fish!

Good to hear. I'm guessing it was a land based comp. If your having fun it doesn't really matter how many fish you get.

Yeah it is more inmportant that you have fun! And yeah It was land based, we were fishing near the tangalooma resort on the inside of the island.
