Hinze Dam 9th oct

Gaday all.
took a gamble on saturday being Crap and did some home reno work to keep the Manager of recreation and heath happy.
so sunday was the fresh thing . summer is always good for salt and the fresh when it blows.
anyway took first time freshwater fisher from our club, peter.
was unprepeard, left the jackalls at home
didn't have the hard bodies that i should of taken or the spinner baits.
but we had enough plastics to melt into a good set of boobs should the right girl come allong.
we didnt travel far from the ramp with the wind being a tad strong.
casting the edges and the points. Peter got the first fish for the day and his first Bass to boot
and for a hinze Bass it was a good fish too at 42cm and fat, he also got the second fish too at around 30cm. me well today i was the fishing guide, just had a few practice casts or 50 with not so much as a touch.
but we watched another feller with a jackall ( just like the ONES I GOT AT HOME )
catch 4 while we watch him move around. and spoke to guy at the ramp again the Jackalls did it for him allso.
I need a switch to make it like GROUNG HOG DAY. then i could REMEMBER the jackalls.

message to self remember the right lures for this dam next time.

P.S the The Titanic sprung a leek just after we left the ramp
a boggy repair and we fished the arfternoon away.

What general area were you fishing? And where did the other bloke get em?

yellahunter never caught anything else yet but there are silver perch and cod and barred grunter and sarratoga but there hard to find. there is a big dam for electric only.
