Oh yeah, forgot. Great trout on a lure. Best I managed was 65 cm on a lure off the rocks at Weipa -with a witness!!

Nice haul.

Fishing with lues is how I imagined fishing for Trout was done. Infact, that was the only way that I had ever seen it done. Exciting way to fish I bet, but it don't come near the smell of burning flesh as mono rips it way through ones hands!!! LOL

Mick, I had my first Trout just the other day. I reckon they taste like Mangrove Jack. Beeeeeeeewtafull !!!

Nice fish Steve the Trout are thick at the moment. Have you tried small poppers over the shallow flats we used to have a ball catching Trout on them a few years ago. By the way nice Yellowfin the other week rare catch if you got them inside the reef and plump buggers too, must of thought you had the Mack tuna from hell. Well done Andrew.
