Friends of a work mate have just spent some time fishing LBG at 1770. These fellas certainly know their stuff and I've previously seen photos of some huge fish they have taken off various points of the NSW coast. Looks like the nailed 1770 pretty good. This is just a selection of some of the fish they caught.
I don't know these blokes from a bar of salt so no point asking any questions about lure lines etc. But enjoy the photos.

These guys all frequent the sportfish extreme site.
They were up here for a few weeks.
From all reports they got a stack of great fish, all land based.
They fished from bustad head as well and did just as good over there.
The pelagic action off the rocks is absolutely amazing at the moment!!!!
The last few days there has been heaps of blokes getting bricked on very heavy gear. As this is the time of year for them, and judging by the reports of how they are fighting, I would assume that the monster cobes have come in.
Hopefully some one will land one for a photo.

thats some good land based fishing - there are no excuses now for peoples without boats....
i'll be up there in 3.5 weeks bring em on.
