went out east from moreton. tried 7 different reefs and about 11 different spots. it was tough fishing with a current of 3-4knots.
1 guy pulled up a 10kg+ kingie, the reel seased up and had to be bought up by hand.
moved to another spot and the pearlies started to come on board. caught a couple and dropped a few. fishing with a 3pound sinker we still couldn;t hold bottom drifting at 3-4knts.
closer in even with a 1pound sinker and the sea anchor out and we were still doing 2-3knts.
end catch was 4 pearlies best at 2.5kg, 1 squire, 1 kingie.
why do people put out a sea anchor when there is no wind but current seems pretty stupid to me?? dunno how it is supposed to slow u down i tought they were for when it was windy??
anyways bad luck phil at least u got some sweet pearlies
matt i think the idea of the sea anchor is to create drag through the water thus slowing you down.
rabbitohbill its easy to keep yourself clean. don;t get dirty
dale i had to mow the lawn on wednesday >
greg didn;t get a reading on the sea temperature
