    the longtails get the dots around the flanks, has been very few yellowfin around sofar but lots of juvenile longtails.

    hey sackrash, how do you get a hookup un those tuna around mud. all i get is lots of frustration.

    Hey Im no expert but they are chasing a real small bait fish so I throw a 1 inch blue and white lure at them, the only rod I have light enough is my SP,s rod with 6lb it takes a while to get them in but its good fun.

    My guess is that it is a small longtail. They get spots too, and have yellow finlets. Guess you don't have a picture, would make things easier...

    Never heard of YFT inside the bay in that area, only up off Bribie...
