    jack for tea.

Scored a nice jack (43cm) in the tweed @ jenners corner on saturday evening. I was using 3" squidgie flickbaits in sashimi prawn colour on a 1-3kg berkley dropshot spin rig. 6lb squidgie braid and 10lb leader. Very suprised to not get blown away on the rocks as i was geared for bream. lucky that the jig was hooked into the outer lip and not down his guts. I was going to put him back but had a length of wire trace hanging out his bum so i figured he had a gut full of hooks and not likley to suvive much longer. when cleaning i found no hooks but gut was completely empty!

    oh well. Tasted good.

    Cheers, Roo.
