28L of fuel and not a tuna to be seen .
well for me anyway.
took peter from the club to go chase some tuna , their everywhere i say.
out on the water as the suns getting up a bit . no birds.
drive slowly towards harries.
NO BIRDS.
run into a mate and he's aLL smiles holding up a 8.6kg LT.
he says the birds are all over the place
i think he was in the right place at the right time. cos thats all he got fore the day. not another bite.
run into Wayne Kempe fishing jurno. same as me not a single tuna or mackeral.and he went as far as the 4 beacons.and he fished lives.
stuffed if i know.
the only thing i can say is i recon it was the dirty water.
the conditions were perfect.
next trip is off the goldie.

The only way I have ever caught them on days like that is at the 4 beacons with Live bait. No birds working anywhere, but they were down deep. But it is different fishing, and only if you are desperate, waiting .... waiting.... but they can be a bit bigger this way too!
