pine river prawns
Decided on a trip to the pine river in the hope of catching some mud crabs
prawns and summer whiting.Went out with sam from sempre, onboard the
sempre 2.
Everything looked good,we had a great moon, incoming tide and one other boat at the ramp.We crabbed the run in tide thurs evening.
First pull nothing,so we chased some prawns and ended up with
enough prawns for a prawn cocktail(6).Went back to check the pots again
nothing but jennys. We then went for a fish,i caught 1 stingray,we used some of our live prawns still nothing in the boat.
Checked the pots again, nothing but females,we now started to think about going home and getting the big boat and smashing out wide, it was only for that 20 kn se that put us off,
Anyway people brought home 2 prawns for our trouble but had a relaxing evening.
