2 mornings fishing, 2 radically different results

    Happy New Year Everyone
What a odd two mornings fishing. Yesterday went to Kalinga Bank and fished from 5 to 10.30 incoming tide, not one bite. Moved down towards the oyster beds before Coomera river, plenty of undersized bream, way too much big boat traffic by 11.00am. In short a read dud morning.

Contrast today, out to St Helena/Mud fished from 5 to 10 incoming tide again. 2 nice bream, 4 grassies, 1 squire and 1 good sized flounder. Getty a tad lumpy, and I am not a super early morning person

But looking forward to seafood bbq for new year tonight

Hope the bay settles down a bit on Monday, wouldn't mind drifting around rous in bankers hours

    Update for this morning
Give Green, St Helena & Mud a big swerve for a few days. Watched 9 trawlers this morning, go around the 8m line, 4 kept going for a while in daylight, the others parked at south mud & green, and by the time we left at 11.30 they were surrounded by a few big boats and yachts seeking shelter from the wind.

For us, it was a okay morning, as we reached our limit for squire for the first time in quite a while. But hols have to end, back to reality tomorrow
