mud

went out to mud first time today. got there about 6am. tried the western side out near black beacon. plenty boats. drift was pretty quick so tried to anchor and had prob holding bottom. got couple small flatties and whiting, then a ray. moved around to southern end where all trawlers were and saw some rock walls. fished out from them and got sweetlip, grassie and cod but all just under. on my next trip can anyone tell me where to try and is there a right time to be there.

oi mate hard luck usually the drift aint to bad bad but try thee eastern side between the 2 yellow beacons and on the incoming tide and make sure to burley up plenty u want to be in about 4 metres of water
