Hervey Bay Prawns

Tried and had limited success down River Heads way this arvo for the usual run of Banana Prawn.

Outta luck, but managed a nice " little " feed.

Nice size Bananas and a few Tigers thrown in.

Maybe by the end of the month things will get better.

good sized prawns there, ur really getting into the bay arnt u have only had luck on the rock prawns up maryborough lately, but will do some down riverheads at some time. Might see u on the water had any luck around kingfisher lately???

Enough to wet the appetite Phil,

And to make matters worse I will be spending a week in HB starting the 7th. Do I risk throwing a net around in unfamiliar territory?? I am bound to find where the rock bars are..unless someone gives me a few good tips???????

Threw the net a fair bit rouynd woodgate beach area and got a heap of good sized bananas not huge but good sized prawns, got them at the mouth of small creeks mostly

Got some nice sized crabs as well
