    pine river crabs 2

    Scott (scott15) brad and I went out for another crab hunt and got two big bucks and two bream while we were waiting the bait was mullet and chicken frames but the chicken frames didn't work at all, all of the pots with chicken frames for bait didn't even produce a under sized or jenny but the mullet did so mullet seems to be the go.

    I have never liked using chicken frames as bait.
    When I have used it fresh the crabs haven't really played the game.
    But when it has been underwater for awhile and has got nice and stinky they seem to love it. I however dont love having that smell soak into the carpet. So mullet is the bait I use. Nice little scanoe you guys have got there. Should try going up hays inlet, I have heard its not bad crabbing up the creeks there.
