    Re: Pop a Jack 2

Yeah sounds good, give the Jacks a miss and have a few beers dont feel like getting up early anymore We must try to get together oneday for a bit of a chat and compare notes (and Bite marks on lures) . It would be a good if I worked normal hours to come to the M@G's and a few of the club meetings.

    Good luck tomorow.

    well done mate.

Jack fishing with poppers is one of the most exhilarating/scariest things iv come across in all my fishing.

I got my baby in about 3-4ft of water, obviously he was chasing all the baitfish, so just goes to show you can get them in the shallows, have landed a couple in deeper water, though only arund 4-6ft.

all this jack popping looks like a whole lot of fun. how fast do you retrieve your poppers? i have been heading down to some known jack lurks and giving the popper a go, but it seems the smaller big eye travally are always the first to the scene (not that they're aren't good fun). i usually retrieve it with quick big bloops. any tips would be fantastic.
