Went to the pine river today for a crab as I havn't been since the christmas holiday's and the taste buds were craving mud crab. Also had my brother hitting me up to take him as he hasn't eaten crab for some time as well.
We took the eight pots and made it to spot x by about 10.00 o'clock and worked the pots every hour from there on in.
First round of the eight pots we had two keepers in the boat and we were of to a good start.
Second time around we had another four more keepers in the boat and things were looking real good.
We checked the pots one more time on the top of the tide and we ended up with another three.
My brother was very happy and he will be having his chilli mud crab tonight.
Sorry about the photos they are not the best as they were still alive and had no time to chill them out for the photo shoot.
