    Spotty Mackerel in the bay

went out into the paddock early chasing spotties. Wasn't any action until about 10am then all hell broke loose. 3 of us in the little quintrex (2 too many) throwing metals at frothing water and getting triple hookups a couple of times. Very good session, ending with 5 each. Not a bad ending to a slow start.

Oooh, just reading about it gets the blood pumping. Good effort scarby, not many have managed to do that this season. Conditions look very favourable for chasing bust-ups about the place as well... my hopes of getting some bay spotties this season begin to rise...

Hi If your inquiring as what the Paddock is, it refers to the expanse of water from Mud across to the Sandhills (Moreton) and north to the banks off Tangas (middle and central), so its a fair lump of water.
If yyour not having much luck with birds or surface activity in your search, just drift the current lines through the centre of this area, and 9 times out of ten something will surface.
    regards
