    Brisbane River Squire 10-2-2006

First thing. I would like to thank the boss for giving me the morning off Thanks Stephen
I left white Island at 4:30am for a quick run before a late start at work.
I got to my spot in one time at all. It was very quite today until about 8am when some turned on the switch one fish after another. I got busted up 3 times by something really big. I did not see many people out there.
The catch was 2x 40cm Squire and 5 undersized squire.
I was using a Gloomas GLX bronzeback extra fast action the a Certate 2500R custom loaded with 20lbs PE braid with a 8lbs Carbon leader.
The Soft Plastic was ZOOMS in baby bass with Nitro 1/8th jigs.
Today I fell out of the boat at the ramp and broke VHF antenna as well broke the winch latch “it was not my day” One last thing some people don’t understand if your motor is very hard to start there is something wrong and you should not go out and yes I did see this happen today.

    Steven,
Good one mate. For a minute I thought that was a pic of your "boat", looking for the broken VHF aerial...

So I see Rod left a few Snapper behind then?

    Cheers,
    Jake

    Hi
Not good when you fall out your boat, I did it about 7 weeks ago at White Island and have not been out as I broke my ankle but it’s all good. So im hoping to go out this weekend sometime only if the boss (wife) lets me as I only got married last Sunday

ohhhh and some nice fish , one day i will get one
