my wife who has not been in the new boat asked why dont you boys take me for a ride in the boat this morning. i wink at the boy and tell him to throw a couple of rods in the boat.only a short ride boys.sure but we might just get a quick cast in. we got a very late start but it was the run out we got the fish on yesterday so off we went.A quick 1 hr session of fishing ,where i loose a good squire,land a smaller one at 36cms and the girl looses a bruiser.she did all the hard work,till it had its last run as we got colour and well Squire 1-Wife nil. What a bonus didnt expect to be fishing today,just great to be on the water.

i agree with flick flack leave the wife at home but more important still do not take the kids they make you look real silly.last bream season fishing my bream spot in the river i gave the young guy a dressing down for throwing his rig with my good hooks into the snags in bugger all water but felt pretty silly when to the amusement of the 8 to 10 people looking on he landed a 15 kilo bream. not good with fello fishos looking on either next trip i was not alone although i got rid of that tinny little bugger for an hour with a dvd.
