went for a quick bream session on sunday morning, hit currumbin creek a bit after ligt, went right up the creek about as far as you can go in a tinnie. the tide had just change so i just cut the motor out and drifted down the creek with the tide (wish i had an electric), flicked a 3inch pearl watermelon on a 1/32 jig head under the trees and got about 4 bream. i was stoked because i got my first legal sized bream on a plastic (which i have been obsessed with lately)
hey
Nice fish..
I was really obcessed with catching my first bream aswel...its such a release of pressure when you get the first one!
I caught mine on the same color Bassminnow, those things are awesome.
good work
thanks guys,
marty
it sux that there is no ramps further up the creek because it takes longer in the boat than in the car to get where i was.
lonewolf
it took about 15mins to get from throwers bridge boat ramp to where i was a bit up the creek from the galleon way bridge. the weir is not far from where i was. i would be alot quicker to get there but the whole creek has a 6 knot no wash limit.
