    Flathead keen to be caught

Set off for Potts Point today, I here they are catching plenty of sweetlip and squire there. Mate managed to pick up a 33 cm squire and a shark both went back. The wind picked up so we decided to head up a creek near Victoria Point. Very shallow water but my mate cleaned up on pike eels he caught eight in about one hour (very frustrating) I mangaed to snag a nice flathead. Initially he put up a bit of a fight but then headed straight for the boat I thought I was going to lose him the line was that slack. Very strange indeed. It seemed like it was intent on ending up in my boat ah well someone has to get lucky every now and again. Nice flathead end up about 65cm.

Lone wolf- I would running from those pike eels too. Some my mate caught were easily 2 metres long.

Rob - Caught him on fresh mullett fillet.
