put my kayak in at 8am sunday and fished till 11.30am. was in the canals around the back of the casino, flicking under the boats, pontoons and jetties. got 7 legal bream and about another 4 or 5 unders. biggest was 35cm. all caught on 3 in gulp in punkin. lost a few because it's hard to pull em out when you're on a kayak.
tried a surface lure for a while but could only find a lot of baby bream. there were thousands of v.little bream up there.
no photos sorry. still waiting for that digicam. maybe in the june sales!
sorry jackash, not sure what they are called, but I fished the few canals directly west of the casino. put the kayak in where the road crosses one of the canals and paddled around from there.
Check out ebay m8, always very cheap little digi cams going on there, just don't get too excited about getting any of em, watch a heap and see what they go for. I got one for $30, it only takes small pics, but works well enough to post on forums or email to friends and I won't care too much if it ends up in the drink.
If you are prepared to spend 100 to 200 on a camera you can get something real nice on there, just be very wary of postage costs, and watch the overseas sellers, I avoid them all together as they usually don't speak english and so don't communicate at all.
