    Wello Friday Trip

After following the lack of activity from other ausfishes at sunrise/early mornings last week at Wello Point I decided to check the bite times/tides for Friday to find good indications for noon so off we went, My new to Wello plastic deckie was onto a couple of nice pan size squire pretty quickly & another franger convert has been born , bite time approached & so did the rain after it cleared the fish came on with one nearly every cast & all in the 30 to 34 cm class but heaps of fun with double hookups & fish hitting anything sent down but the Berkley Yabby & the Zooms Fukes supreme, as the fish slowed I decided to work tight to the bottom with sliders next two fish went 59cm@ 2 Kilo & 74cm@ 4.2 Kilo ,GOTTA BE HAPPY WITH THAT EH!!, Got some piccies to organise (as soon as I get the smile off the face .) Cheers Touchy.><> ><> ><>

Great fish for the Bay Touchy. [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

Its weird how the plastic keeps working all day when bait would be a waste of time.

    Cheers

G,Day Fred, Mate that would have to be the biggest snapper capture from around Wello that i have heard of....I BET YOUR STILL IN SHOCK
I remember someone caught a 3.5 kilo snapper last year up towards Ormiston.
Can't wait to see your photos.
You did well to land that monster on light gear!!
What a start to your retirement
    Cheers Brent

    74 cm!! I want photos!
Well done mate. I think the word got around the piscatorial locals, because there was not much action there today.

I have to report a beautiful late afternoon on the water at the rocks at Peel, with a top little sunset, glassed out conditions and a few fish.
