Well we went targeting Bull sharks again last wednesday night.
We decided to gove the river along the west end stretch a go as there are serious concentrations of mullet there right now schooling under the apartment lights.

We used slimy makcs and yellow tails on two hook set ups with a wire trace.

Within two minutes we were on with what we thought must be a shark.

It was a bloody big catfish, took the whole slimy mack bait and trace! Over the eve we caught several more of these catties. They literally slammed these huge bait no holding back. Actualy very entertaining even on teh heavy gear. I have never had catties slam so hard and take so much line. Are they more aggresive at night? Usually i just gt a dead heavy weight.
