Caught a nice GT today down at the GC seaway today on a slug just tipped 4kg (not bad from the rocks). Another guy got a nice makerel from the rocks. There were some big schools about 300 meters out but they just wouldn't move in. Oh well.

Frustrating when they just won't come close enough to get a cast to, but that 4 kg trevally of the wall was a great effort. take that in the seaway or throwing towards the pumping jetty?
those trevs go hard don't they? Particularly one 4kg well done M8
Rainbow Trout is NOT skittle flavoured fish.........
Thanks guys. I was near the end of the breakwall casting towards the pumping jetty (sort of SE) was trying to cast into a head wind also. The GT fought real hard, I wasn't surprised when I found out it was gt it fought like a mungrel. Was abit of fun for a frustrating day. The schools just hung out all day but the chop was so extreme that no boats were out there chasing them away (just a few jetskis)
Cheers
Arrrgghhh.... I wish I were there today to score trevor... my easter break has already over and forced back to work
