Coomera Jacks

Went for a fish in the Coomera early this morning. Haven't fished it much, even though I live right there. A few cod, and two great jacks. One fell to a two-hook gold bomber, and the pictured one to a small silver Cotton Cordell ratlin' spot. My fishing mate got broke off by what we think was another one. I have only caught one other jack on the coast in all my time here, so for those of you still trying - don't give up! By the way - all fish were released, so there are at least two still out there.

Good fish mate, and welcome. Nice to see jacks are still in the Coomera, I was thinking they were all over. The jacks love those hardbodies.

BTW, feel free to keep your spot a secret. We dont want everyman and his dog in our favorite spot.
